Tropicalities is shareware.  Please register your copy; it's only $10 US.  Registration is completely optional, and I understand that $10 seems like a lot to pay for a small utility, but if it saves you connection fees, saves wear and tear on your Mac, or just makes your Internet experience a little easier, it might be worth it.  All the money I get will go towards my college education.  Really.  So go ahead, register!  It'll make you feel good.  Honest.
